Two Suitcases is an award-winning film and technology project for teenagers living with chronic illness. Teenagers collaborate with professional artists on developing and making their own films.

Doing the project was really good because it made us feel normal, not sick kids having a little bit of fun. It felt like us teenagers are in control of what we want to come up with.’

In 2017, we embarked on a national film project with Epilepsy Ireland, partnered for a fourth year with CanTeen Ireland, the national support organisation for young people with experience of cancer, and began a new partnership with Diabetes Ireland. In 2018, we are looking forward to our first film project with teen patients from a Dublin children’s hospital.

Check out Seizure the Day, a short fictional film created by young people with epilepsy and inspired by their experiences.
