Helium Arts and Health is funded from a variety of both public and private funders, sponsors and patrons. We are consistently developing fundraising strategies in order to expand our services. It is our vision that children in every hospital in Ireland will be able to access our creative programmes. There are many ways in which you can help us move closer towards our vision becoming reality:
Challenge events – runs, marathons, outdoor adventure challenges.
Fundraising in schools – children helping children. Examples of such activities include:Bake sales; Summer barbecues; Bring and buy; Games/sports tournaments; Table quizzes ; Raffles; Sponsored activities: read; swim; run; walk; climb; Treasure hunts; No uniform days
Payroll giving – A hassle-free method of giving, where deductions from payroll are given to Helium. Donate a fixed amount from your monthly salary.
Run your own event – Examples of such activities include: Coffee morning; Cheese and wine night; Bake sale; Bridge drive; Breakfast event; Dinner party; Fashion show; Private film screening with nibbles and drinks; Garden party; Karaoke evening. Visit Helium’s i-Donate page to see what fundraising events supporters have undertaken for Helium and to set-up your own i-Donate Helium fundraising campaign: http://www.idonate.ie/772_helium-arts.html
Workplace fundraising – Fundraise for Helium with your company, while having some fun with colleagues. Examples of workplace fundraising activities include: Gala events; book sales; charity dance; lunchtime events; dress-down days; parachute jumps; wine tastings; learn-a-new-skill events; karaoke; fashion shows. Another great way to support Helium is to nominate us for your workplace Charity of the Year award.
